Our Story
At EK Psychotherapies, we believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and supported — not simply for the challenges they may be facing, but for the whole person they are.
We provide specialist, evidence-based mental health and neurodiversity services for children, young people and adults, with care built around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Therapy That Fits You
No two people experience the world in exactly the same way, and we don’t believe therapy should expect them to.
Our experienced team takes the time to understand your experiences, strengths, challenges and goals before developing an approach that works for you.
We offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), alongside other specialist and integrative approaches.
We support people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, OCD, panic, phobias, stress, grief, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties and a wide range of other mental health challenges.
Specialist Neurodiversity Support
Neurodiversity is at the heart of a growing part of our work.
We provide specialist support for ADHD and autistic individuals, recognising that traditional models of therapy don’t always meet the needs of neurodivergent people.
Rather than expecting you to adapt to therapy, we adapt therapy to you — working with your brain, your communication style, your strengths and your individual needs.
Our wider neurodiversity pathway includes comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for both adults and children, alongside therapeutic support, coaching, education and pre- and post-assessment care.
For us, assessment isn’t simply about reaching a diagnosis. It’s about helping people better understand themselves and ensuring they have meaningful support for what comes next.
Beyond Individual Therapy
Our work extends beyond the therapy room. We also provide clinical supervision, coaching, workshops, professional training and organisational support, working with professionals, schools, health and social care organisations and other services to improve understanding of mental health and neurodiversity.
Moving Forward, Together
Whether you’re reaching out for support for the first time, seeking specialist therapy, exploring whether you or your child may be neurodivergent, or looking for professional expertise, you’ll be met with compassion, respect and without judgement.
Our aim is simple:
To provide high-quality, evidence-based and genuinely person-centred care that helps people understand themselves, overcome challenges and move forward with greater confidence.
Because at EK Psychotherapies, we don’t believe people should have to fit into services.
We believe services should be built around people.
Meet the Team
We know how important it is to feel comfortable, safe, and understood in therapy. The relationship you build with your therapist can make all the difference.
Our team brings a range of experiences, specialisms, and approaches. We invite you to explore their profiles and take your time choosing someone who feels right for you.
When you’re ready, we’re here to support you.
