With over a decade of experience in mental health, EK Psychotherapies specialises in evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR, supporting individuals through their unique healing journeys.

We work with clients of all ages, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more, offering a compassionate and personalised approach to care.

Our practice is flexible, adapting to the needs of those with long-term conditions, perinatal issues, and neurodiversity. We’re dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing space where individuals can explore their challenges, build resilience, and develop their strengths.

Comprehensive Mental Health Support

At EK Psychotherapies, our team is dedicated to supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety, PTSD, phobias, social anxiety, grief, and more. We also offer specialised care for long-term health conditions, neurodiversity, stress, menopause, and support for children and young people.

Our clinicians are accredited by the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) and are trained in evidence-based therapies, including EMDR and ADHD assessments. We also provide Clinical Supervision to support fellow professionals, ensuring the highest quality of care and therapeutic support.

    With over a thirteen years of experience in mental health, I specialise in evidence-based CBT and EMDR therapy to support individuals on their healing journey. I am a qualified ADHD Assessor and specialise in adapted Neurodiverse sessions for clients.

  • Siobhan Prince - CBT/EMDR Therapist

    I’m a Registered Mental Health Nurse & accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over 10 years of experience across mental health settings. I’m also trained in (CFT) and (EMDR).

    I'm an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and an EMDR therapist.

I also have extensive experience working with women of all ages, helping them navigate challenging times from conceiving all the way to menopause.

    I am an accredited CBT Therapist with BABCP, accredited EMDR Therapist, DBT therapist, CFT and Behaviour Family Therapist. I have over 35 years of experience working in this field. I have worked with individuals and groups specialising in Complex PTSD, all forms of anxiety, depression, personality disorder, panic attacks, phobia, low self-esteem, to build and maintain mental health wellbeing.

    With over 8 years of experience working in mental health, I am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist. I support individuals with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, OCD, Social anxiety, Health anxiety, long term physical health conditions and PTSD.     I am a PWP registered and accredited with BABCP and have a decade of experience in empowering individuals to achieve their goals around taking back control of their life from common wellbeing challenges such as depression, different forms of anxiety, fears and phobias, panic etc. Everyone has a different experience of wellbeing challenges therefore I put my clients at the heart of treatment planning.

  • Emily Cheney - CBT Therapist

    I am a fully accredited CBT therapist with the BABCP.  I specialise in treating depression and anxiety disorders, including PTSD, OCD, Social Anxiety and Panic Disorder, among others.  I help the people I work with to understand themselves and their difficulties better, by providing a warm and compassionate space to explore and create positive change, empowering them to live authentic and fulfilled lives.
